The book Vault: Happy Bday

This is just Another post about Books, I’ve been surfing online for some good book reviews websites, and since I am so into Blogs right now I thought what the hell, let’s find some decent book worms who review books, you know to see what they think about books. So while I was doing that I stumbled on a site called the book muncher, read in it a little bit then it mentioned another book review blog, what’s special about that blog is that the blogger Dominique, is conducting a riddle-contest, she says a riddle about a certain book, and we (the people who’d send her the answers) had to figure out what that book is and send her an email. Then she’d give a point for each correct answer and in the end the ones with the most points win, what exactly do they win, my personal faviourte and every book worm fav. FREE BOOKS LOL.

This time I won't forget the website. LOL

so here is the post about the riddle at book muncher, and here is the one at the book Vault

Anyways she also gives 2 points to anyone who blogs about the contest, but honestly I would’ve blogged about it anyways, I mean Comeon there is nothing more worthy posting a bout than books especially free ones. LOL

By the way the whole reason for the contest is Dominique’s Birthday, so happy birthday Dominque. And whether I win or Lose, you just gained a dedicate reader for your blog

That’s it for now

Arranged Marriage

When I typed Arranged Marriage on Google I was expecting to find more about arranged marriage concerning Muslim and Arab on general, but what actually surprised me is that all the results I got was about Indians!now don't get me wrong, I have absolutely no problem with Indians, but I wasn't aware that arranged marriages is their favorite and, most times, only method to chose a spouse, I thought we Arab took the lead to that, but I was hugely mistaken, it's actually is a surprise for me to realize that Indians still practice arranged marriage even aboard as apposed to Arabs who are doing their best to abandon it, for the sake of western civilization.Of course I was glad to realize that not everyone confuse forced marriage with arranged marriage but most people seem to think that it is a loveless marriage, where both sides don't actually love each other and some even hardly like each other.I honestly find that funny, because not all arranged marriages are loveless marriages. in fact I've seen arranged marriages with true love stories as much as I've seen misery in them . in fact the marriage I admire the most is based on an arranged marriage, and that is the marriage of my own parents, I don't admire their marriage just because they are my parents, neither am I the only one that actually admire it. in fact most of our cousins males and females from both sides of the family have always expressed their hopes of finding a marriage and LOVE like my parents have, after 28 years of Marriage they are so much in love and still happily married. The problem with people in Egypt is that they whether condemn arranged marriage (seeing it as a loveless marriage or someone who just wants to marry anyone) or they condemn love marriages (seeing it as unrealistic and often fails and also a not-so-moral way to meet your future spouse). But I personally believe that a person can think he married someone out of love to later discover that this person got married just for the sake of marriage or the other way round people can think that they are having an arranged marriage just to find the "one".It’s also very bizarre to me. Those same people who frown upon arranged marriage live in a country where matchmakers actually are still in the business of helping single to meet and worse they had something where you can mail order a bride! Also another weird thing is they never realized that an arranged marriage in Egypt is only arranged in the beginning (the setting in which the couple would meet) after that completing it or not is up to both parties. of course there are the people that do what ever that would satisfy their parents but I do believe that this is a problem with the person rather than the arrangement, that same person will cave in to his/her parents will about what college to study in, where to live, where to work, and eventually who to marry, so whether it's an arrange marriage or a love based one that person will have a weak personality in front of his/her parents. All in all, marriage is marriage. People get married because they want to; they take what they want out of that marriage, whether it is love, money, companionship, power, children or just the mere fact that they are not single anymore. It’s not how you meet your spouse that matters what matter the most is who you want it to be and what you want out of it
