Books
BUT
I really don't think that such idea is actually do-able in Egypt.I am not sure I'll ever do it. a book left somewhere here in Egypt has one of three destinys1- found by someone and sell it by the Kilogram (to be turned to paper which contains falafel)2- found by someone who'd sell it to a wondering book-seller3- thrown in the garbage.
They (Bookcrossing) have another part where you could trade books with the other members, so I just might do that and then again maybe not.

ُEgyptian blogs
must bloggers talk about their life from a certain aspect.
after reading them all (most of them are in Arabic of course) i felt shame with my humble Blog.
I have a Bookmark with Interesting blogs a lot of them in English but some are in Arabic
and they are
Ghada Bride , the reason that started the whole Egyptian blogs for me after i read her book
Eman Hashim , Have a great Blog i agree with her sometime and disagree other. but on general i think she's a great person and very talented
ايمان اسامه , she writes in her blog every Thursday. it's hilarious and i totally love it.
رحـاب بـسـام , For soo long i resisted readin her blog cause the book's title gave me the "wrong " impression that it's about love and stuff like that but after reading it i discovered i was wrong. it's about herself in every possible way love may be there but only a part of her. it's soo personal but at the same time everyone can totally relate to.
عبده الرايق , the only Egyptian Male blogger i read for. before him i thought that blogging in Egypt was only for girls he writes about the fiction (hopefully) character Abdo . he's very funny and i think he should get published.
there was another blogger that i forgot her name she wrote about her mother-in-law, I read her whole blog then made the fatal mistake of forgetting to bookmark it now i can't find it.
so hopefully in the next couple of days i start discover more good Egyptian bloggers

Do We (Muslims) believe in Allah or God ?
whether the writer is with or against that (I don't remember) doesn't make a difference the fact that someone would say that is beyond me. and i think it's funny in a sad way. It's like saying that French Christians don't believe in god they believe in Dieu. ask anyone who speaks Arabic (not necessarily a Muslim for Arabic speaking Christians do exist). what does the word Allah means. you will be told that it means god and any muslim will tell you that Muslims believe in Abraham and in Jesus. they are prophets of Allah (God). we believe that Christianity and Judaism where sent from Allah too. the main difference is that we believe that they should have converted to Islam when Mohamed (peace be upon him) was sent and that the religions they follow now is diverted from the original religions that God sent.
In my opinion the reason muslims all over the world chose to say allah instead of god or what ever the language they speak is simply the same reason why we say Hijab instead of vial and Jihad instead of holy war. Muslims prefer to use as many Arabic words as they can. we on general don't like to translate our religion. The Quran was sent to us in Arabic so we like to preserve it in the original because we consider it a miracle.
So answering the question Do We (Muslims) believe in Allah or God ?
would be Both because for us (Muslims ) Allah is God. and God is Allah

Islam Vs. Islamic Countries
People have to learn to differentiate between Islam and Islamic countries. It's not the same thing just because Saudi choose to beat women with no veil doesn’t mean that it's stated in Islam.
Islam is a choice people make. And like anything in life it has CLEAR RULES those rules include pygmy, Hijab (veil) , whipping and stoning as punishment for infidelities , etc. Those things are part of the Islam if you don't like it then don't be a Muslim. Those rules should only apply to them. If you see them as barbaric and inhuman then it's your problem. But you have no right saying that doing that is wrong and shouldn't be applied those people chose to live (and die if they must) by these rules. This is their free will so stay out of it.
Do I sound like am brainwashed? Maybe but being a Muslima that thinks the wearing Hijab (Veil) is the right decision. Then am probably viewed as Brain washedI am oppressed
Apparently we all are .
No matter how much I scream that I am not .
A Muslim woman in a Muslim country has to be oppressed. you can claim you are not as much as you like. but that doesn't change the fact that you are oppressed.
I am not Vailed (wearing the Hijab) so that's a point for me. Of course the fact that I am hoping to wear it soon doesn't change the fact that they probably look at me as if i am someone who's very brave because I fight for my own freedom.
The western World won't simply allow it. for you to be Muslim and not oppressed and suppressed.
because you don't wear revealing clothes and choose to cover your body instead.
and they are kinda right what women won't like to show (nearly) her entire body and walk around like a piece of meat and have men drool over her (J/k by the way)
if you chose to cover up then you are oppressed.
More on that later
